I love love love this chore coat. The wash is beautiful, bright, and fun. At 5'!0 and 175lbs with average build with somewhat broader shoulders I usually wear a Medium. Even though I went with a Small it has a very casual roomy somewhat boxy look which is a nice contrast to my usual fitted look.
I am very happy with this purchase. What could be better than a Japanese selvedge, indigo denim chore coat? The detailed characteristics of the cotton fabric add to a distinctive piece, along with rugged shank buttons you cant go wrong. It is light but not heavy, great layering, everywhere jacket that is my new favorite to last me a long time.
As per the advice of another reviewer, I would order a size down from what you would normally wear. In shirts and jackets alike, across the board I always order Large. This jacket however fits big and not in the intentional boxy look but, overall fit. So I ordered a Medium with reluctance and glad I did! Such a great jacket.
This is the jacket for me. Enough about that. Everyone working at the new store in Boston was absolutely amazing. Went to the store twice and they remembered my name and sparked great conversation about the brand, fashion and life in general. I can’t compliment the staff enough. Great people there.
A great fit, heavier quality denim than I was expecting.
I think this will quickly become my favorite jacket; great fit, a heavier, warmer quality of denim than I was expecting.
