As part of its mission to bring art to life, The Metropolitan Museum of Art invited Todd to design a series of wearable works of art based on its permanent collection. The result? A collection of one-of-a-kind chore coats, puffers, sweaters, scarves and sweatshirts featuring the works of Degas, Manet and Van Gogh.

The MET

Founded in 1870, the Metropolitan Museum of Art presents more than 5,000 years of art from around the world. The Met lives in two iconic sites in New York City — the Met Fifth Avenue and the Met Cloisters. Aside from being what former director Thomas Hoving called  “the most diverse and dazzling art museum in the world,” the Met is part of the fabric of New York, whether as the backdrop for books like From the Mixed-up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, TV shows like Gossip Girl, or The Met Ball.
